Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of research and development activities within the coatings sector.
- Drive innovation by developing new products and improving existing product lines tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align R&D objectives with overall business strategy.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and technological advancements to ensure competitive advantage.
- Sit on BU leadership team, involved with EMEA strategy.
- Manage 2 labs and international R&D teams.
Skills Required:
- Director R&D: Proven leadership in managing R&D teams, setting strategic direction, and fostering an environment of innovation.
- R&D / Scientific: Strong foundation in scientific research methodologies, preferably within the chemicals or related industries.
- Chemicals: Extensive knowledge in chemical processes related to coatings and industrial care products.
- CASE Raw Materials: Expertise in formulating products using CASE principles for diverse applications.
- Industrial Care: Understanding of the challenges and solutions specific to the industrial sector regarding coatings and maintenance materials.
