About the Role
This permanent Service Engineer role, based in Dummy London, offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, bioelectronics, biometrics, biotech and biologics. You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and optimising advanced systems and equipment used in biological and biotech applications, ensuring high reliability, safety and performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help diagnose issues, implement technical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality and support innovative technologies.
Key Skills and Expertise
- Experience in a Service Engineer or closely related technical support role
- Strong background in bioelectronics engineering, including working with electronic systems in biological or medical contexts
- Knowledge of biometrics technologies and applications
- Understanding of biotech environments and associated equipment and systems
- Familiarity with biologics processes and equipment support
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues methodically and efficiently
- Comfort working with complex, safety-critical systems and following established procedures
- Good communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and end users
- Organised and proactive approach to managing service schedules and priorities
