Service Engineer

About the Role

As a Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining advanced bioelectronics, biometrics, biotech, and biologics-related systems and equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and ensuring that all technology and devices operate at optimal performance levels. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will help guarantee reliability, safety, and compliance across critical systems, contributing directly to the efficiency and quality of service within the organisation.

Key Skills and Expertise

• Experience working as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical support, maintenance, or field engineering role
• Technical knowledge of bioelectronics systems, biometrics devices, biotech equipment, or biologics-related technologies
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex electronic and electromechanical systems
• Ability to carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on specialist equipment
• Experience in testing, calibration, and validation of technical systems
• Comfortable interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and manuals
• Good communication skills to liaise with clients, end users, and internal teams
• Organised and detail-focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple service tasks and priorities
