About the Role

This contract position as a TAR (Turnaround) Supervisor/ Manager is focused on leading and coordinating turnaround activities within a chemical and industrial operations environment. Based at the Freeport, Texas site, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of turnaround and maintenance activities, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. Working closely with operations and maintenance teams, you will help minimise downtime, optimise asset reliability, and support the smooth running of plant operations.

Key Skills and Expertise

• 5-10+ years experience managing or coordinating turnarounds, shutdowns, or major maintenance projects in a chemical or industrial environment
• Strong background in operations and maintenance, with a clear understanding of plant processes and equipment
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute work scopes within tight schedules and budget constraints
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance within a chemicals or industrial setting
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors
• Strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate activities across operations and maintenance functions
• Experience working in high-hazard environments typical of chemical or industrial facilities
