About the Role
As a Sheeter Operator, you will play a key role in an industrial, automated production environment. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring sheeting machinery to ensure paper and packaging materials are cut to precise specifications, maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the process. Working closely with the wider production team, you will help minimise downtime, optimise machine performance, and support overall delivery.
Key Skills and Expertise
- Experience operating industrial sheeting or similar converting machinery in a packaging or paper production environment (preferred)
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot automated equipment
- Good understanding of safety procedures and safe working practices in an industrial setting
- Ability to read and work to production specifications and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate cutting, minimal waste, and consistent output quality
- Reliable, team-focused approach with good communication skills on the production floor
- Willingness to work to production targets and adapt to changing priorities as needed
