About the Role
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of a new chemicals manufacturing facility, overseeing planning, engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover into operations. This role is accountable for ensuring the plant is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to regulatory and quality standards. The Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage contractors and suppliers, and act as the primary interface between leadership, engineering, operations, and external stakeholders.
Key Skills and Expertise
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
Proven experience delivering large-scale industrial, chemical, or process plant projects ($50M+ typical).
Strong understanding of chemical process safety, regulatory frameworks, and engineering standards.
Demonstrated success managing EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Expertise in project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. regulatory and safety frameworks (OSHA, EPA, NFPA)
